President of The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery, Marshall Bohannon, and member Jack Rosen delivered boxes of donated books for the children at Cincinnati Union Bethel's four Early Learning Academies. Over 600 children, age 3-5, received a book.
The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery has donated books for each child at the holidays for years. We are so thankful! According to a 2009 study from Jumpstart on “America’s Early Childhood Literacy Gap,” about 61% of low-income households have no age-appriopriate books.
