One of our Early Learning Academies, Camp Washington, was just verified as a 5 Star Rated Center by Step Up to Quality! This is the third year in a row that Camp Washington will be rated at this highest level. These 5 stars mean low staff/child ratios, highly qualified and trained teachers, lesson plans that support children’s growth, assessments to improve the learning experience, and value placed in its families and community.
The amount of work and dedication that goes into earning the 5 Star level is significant, but to be able to maintain it for several years is where the real work occurs. This rating says that the center has embraced the practice of quality, and it is now embedded into their culture and everyday practice. Earning the rating is difficult in itself, and maintaining the rating reflects on everyone involved. Thank you to everyone at Camp Washington for putting into practice high quality processes that focus on our children, families, and quality first!
This quality rating proves the benefits of our program, helping children in need. Thank you to our hard-working Early Childhood Education staff who helped make this quality rating happen!
