Karla, Julie and Sam present a check to Viann

On November 5, a group came together at A Salon Named Desire in Pleasant Ridge to do a Zumba class, a combination of aerobics and dance.  Some of the class had never tried Zumba before, but had heard it was fun.  And fun it was!  The class boogied and worked up a sweat, all for just $10.

Last week, A Salon Named Desire owners, Karla Lalosh, Julie Duggins, and Samantha Carter, presented a check to Off the Streets facilitator Viann Barnett.  Not only is Viann integral to the Off the Streets program, but she was also at the Zumba class, trying it for the first time.

Our many thanks to A Salon Named Desire, who continues to support women making positive life changes.  For more information about A Salon Named Desire, at 6091 Montgomery Rd., please visit www.asalonnameddesire.com.
