This is three in a series of three articles about what we are thankful for this Thanksgiving week.
The first check to arrive in response to our annual appeal was in memory of a woman who lived at the Anna Louise Inn from 1916-1918.
We are humbled by such responses and by the compassion of community members to give back, particularly when we affected their lives over 90 years ago. We are also touched by the lasting impact our services have had over the years.
Our mission is to provide supportive services and education programs that assist urban women, children, families and communities to realize their greatest potential. We remain as committed to our mission today as we were 180 years ago when we started along the banks of the Ohio River. We are mission-focused.
But without our donors, we simply could not achieve our mission.
Thank you, thank you to the many people who give to Cincinnati Union Bethel! You truly change our clients' lives. You help prepare 3-5 year olds for kindergarten; you help provide safe and affordable housing for women; and you help prostituted women make positive life changes.
Hugs and thanks from all of us!
