Debbie Carr with the Martha Kidd Foundation presented Carol Thornton, the intake coordinator with Off the Streets, a check for $1,000 for the Off the Streets program at an event at Below Zero Lounge in March.
The grant will help fund a professional faciliatator who works with women in Off the Street once a week and holds special retreats on the weekends called Steps to Freedom.
